Welcome to The Shore Cafe, where we do things a little differently.
We pride ourselves on quality, local ingredients, made from scratch and made to order. Our cakes incorporate traditional home-baking with a twist, generously cut and fairly priced.
We only make what we like to eat, and take the upmost care in our creations and our friendly service. This is more like gathering with pals to enjoy a relxaed, homely space, great coffee and great grub.
Sourcing local ingredients, and preparing everything with love, we want you to enjoy our space as much as we do.
As the summer rolls in, we are hoping to do some BYOB events. Small, informal and more of a feeling of an intimate evening with friends with the finest of food and some good tunes. You won't find a cosier atmosphere with a more stunning location. Our space is also available for private hire.

As well as our staple menu of full Scottish breakfast, omelettes and French toast, alongside soups of the day, pancakes, toasties, filled rolls and our much loved hand-cut chips, we offer a range of specials.
This week we have Minestrone soup (VG), a BLT, Halloumi burger and a spicy chicken wrap. This one is incredible - tender strips of Kent's butcher's chicken breast in a smoky, garlicky sauce served over lettuce, tomato and cucumber with Siracha mayo on a soft tortilla wrap. Delicious. Why not add a bowl of hand-cut chips for a heartier lunch.
